I made an attempt at these the other day. I figured I had the leftover cake, buttercream, and some yummy ganache, so why not? I'd never made these before but I thought the different cake colors would be cool. So easy too: just mash cake with buttercream, roll, and dip. Voila! Cake bite. I think my favorite thing about this though, is that bowl. I forgot I had it! So cute.
Next time I try these I'm going to go it with tempered chocolate. I think they will hold up better and also have that nice snap to them when you bite into it. Chocolate's the best. Colors are too.
