I love getting opportunities to do small yummies for things like baby showers. A lovely (and VERY nice) co-worker is going to have a baby and we threw her a baby shower about a week and a half ago. She's having a girl (obvi) and I thought the roses would be perfect for her. I always like to make flavors that will appeal to most people, so I went with a vanilla cake with lemon curd filling, and vanilla buttercream. I stayed up late to make these the night before, but that's only because I have a weird obsessive nature about making them all look exactly the same. gosh how annoying.
(p.s. I wanted to share the recipe with you. I'll have to do that later today...)
