I've been meaning to post about this. So what do you do when you have old bananas? You make banana bread. And a few days ago that's just what I did. I love chocolate, so I found a recipe on epicurious.com that had chocolate chips in it. It originally called for walnuts, but I only had almonds. I decided to give it a try. I really enjoyed baking it. And of course, it's always better after it's been sitting overnight.

Jovovich Hawk at Target
I came across these new fashions through another website. I'm glad Target gets their hands on cute stuff for cheapies like me. I was impressed with the new Jovovich Hawk line that they are introducing. Surprisingly very cute-even for Target which I always love anyway.

Disneyland/Tron
The magical world of wonder does it again. How many places can you go that your husband actually gets a little choked up when he watches the nightly fireworks display? Was it Tron that makes him sniffley? I think it's the flying Tinkerbell that flies over the castle from a rope strung from the Matterhorn. (Really? that's how they do it? yes.) This trip was different though. We spoke to one of the workers that have been there for 10 years. He let us in on some Disneyland Secrets. Apparently 38,000 visitors a day is considered a slow day. The overhead cost is something he doesn't even speak about. The park always has at least a few people there all hours of the night. Oh yeah, and don't go into Critter Country late at night by yourself.
Here's what we looked like after day 1:
I was tired, and Matt was constipated.

I hate junk email
I just have to rant about this for a minute. I hate that stupid junk email. I get it EVERYDAY. No, I don't want to know where to find a great hot tub company. And I don't want to just click once and grow a tree. Seriously, I get these things. I know how to unsubscribe to email lists, and opt-out of receiving mail from obnoxious companies. But I somehow keep getting this crap. PLEASE PEOPLE! leave me alone already.
Dinner Serving Plates

They call these dinner plates, I call them super cute dessert plates. I imagine these with a bright meringue or white cake on them. Maybe swirled with a beautiful raspberry, strawberry, or blueberry fruit on it. It needs colors that contrast so you can see the detail of the dessert and the plate.
By the way, I am still planning on posting about my trip to Magical Land.

Chocolate Covered Mini Pretzels
So I went to California this past long weekend and that means I have a chance to shop at my favorite grocery store, Trader Joe's. And while I will write about my trip a little later, I had to stop in and at least give you a taste of what I bought. These are the best things ever made: Chocolate Covered Mini Pretzels. THEY ARE SO GOOD! WHY AM I YELLING YOU SAY? BECAUSE THEY REALLY ARE THAT GOOD. Seriously, go get yourself some, because I probably won't share mine.

Seltzer Bottles
I have a thing for this color, and especially this color in glass. For some reason I am drawn to the vintage Latin appeal of these seltzer bottles. Color must be hard-wired in my brain to make me happy. I wouldn't use these as seltzer bottles, I would display them on my glass shelves that are newly built with the archway.

I Know Some People
So some of you may know that there were tryouts held in SLC for 'So You Think You Can Dance" (or SYTYCD to fanatics). Being that I am a dancer and obviously know a lot of people who dance, I am proud to say that I know some people who did really well... I am so proud! Hopefully I get to see them on TV at the beginning of the season when they show all the different tryouts from the cities they go to. This is the first year we've had tryouts held here. It's about time.
The Definition of Dance
In the dictionary this is what I found under the word 'Dance':
: to move or seem to move up and down or about in a quick or lively manner
lame.
: to move or seem to move up and down or about in a quick or lively manner

High Centered
Matt and I got stuck in the snow on Sunday night. We were going to my mom’s house where it had been snowing all day. It was thick, heavy and slushy wet snow. I was complaining because he was driving too fast for the slick roads, and he was complaining that I was telling him how to drive again. We were just about to pull into the driveway when I wanted him to drive through some fresh snow that was still untouched in the street. He passed it but turned around. He missed it again, so he turned and did the ‘pull the emergency break to slide into the turn’ thing, and what do you know, we got stuck right in front of some guys driveway.
He got so mad. He blamed it on me of course. I told him he didn’t have to pull a MacGyver just to turn around. He got out and stomped around a bit while I laughed. We weren’t just stuck we were high centered on the snow. We got shovels from my mom’s house and started digging. The only truck that passed by, well, just passed by. A neighbor finally stopped and helped us push. 30 minutes later we were in the driveway where we should have been in the first place.
