Lemon Cake
Being that it is Easter on Sunday (already! sheesh!) I wanted to do something fun and festive. Usually that means make a dessert or going out to eat. Ok- so basically that just means eating, but, I saw this and if I am ambitious enough, then I will make it. A lemon cake. I especially like this recipe because it uses sour cream. I also have some great lemon curd in my fridge, so I will have to at least garnish with that...
I hope to someday actually come up with these recipes myself, but since I am so preoccupied with other things right now, it will have to wait. I guess this is a good alternative-Martha Stewart.

I saw this on thewinger.com. Go figure, it's a dance blog that a NYC Ballet dancer started. The contributors are professional dancers from around the world.
This article was posted by one of the contributors, and it's written by another famous dancer from American Ballet Theater (ABT) for Newsweek. If fact, it's the cute dark-haired dancer from Center Stage, if you ever saw that movie.
I thought it was quite thought-provoking and much needed. Read on.

So I've seen these, but never been 'tagged' and actually done one. I guess I feel kind of special because I decided to do it. And because I think my husband's pretty cool.
What is his name? Matthew Levi Whittaker
How long have you been married? 9 months on March 9th
How long did you date? 4 years
How old is he? almost 26
Who eats more? MATT, although I've been known to really pack it in at times.
Who said I love you first? um, was it me? I can't remember...sad
Who is smarter? hm-not sure. He and I both seem to know things equally, only in different areas, so it really balances out.
Whose temper is worse? we both don't really have bad tempers, but he can definitely get mad. I've only seen it a couple of times.
Who does the laundry? both-I sort it, and then I tell him what settings to put the loads in on. I'm assuming that might change down the road.
Who does the dishes? both of us-it depends on who has the time.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? let's see, we've changed a couple of times... I do.
Who pays the bills? I did, then he did, now I do. It might stay that way for a while.
Who cooks dinner? assuming we even have time to sit down together, usually me. Although he can do an outstanding job at putting together a nice little meal.
Who drives when you are together? mostly he does
Who is more stubborn? ooo this is hard...both
Whose parents do you see the most? we used to see his family more, until I complained. Now it's probably pretty even.

Who has more friends? I think I will have to say he does. Although I still have a lot, even though I'm not in touch as much as I should be.

What's your favorite date? Definitely going out to a great hole in the wall restaurant, seeing a really good movie, and of course lounging around watching funny episodes of Arrested Development, Family Guy, or Extras while eating snacks and chocolate. Matt is the best to laugh with.
